What: Reception
When: After the wedding

One hand swept through Alex's hair as he two were led off after the marriage license signing so they could have a minute to relax. Everyone was being ferried to the reception site and gathered for their entrance, but they were allowed to have a moment inside where it was far less hot. He turned to look at Alice and just beamed at her, one hand going to take hers for a moment. It was done, after what felt like years. They had finally made. "How are you holding up?" he asked her gently. "I can have someone hunt you down some water before we head back out, if you want."

What: Surprising Alice
When: About a week before the wedding

It was nice to know that they'd schlepped off a good amount of the wedding duties to the wedding planner in the last few weeks. Work had taken over for both of them, and it made Alex feel good to know that what little time Alice got at home was spent not worrying about wedding stuff and worrying more about sleeping and relaxing. But, in that, he'd been saving a bit of a surprise for her. The only time he'd seen her the last few days was just about time for bed, and she was gone before he had to be up, poor thing. But she had some time off now, which was good.

Alex stretched out on the couch, having been up early that morning. The paper was in his hands as he read over it, and he looked up to the hallway every so often. He was contemplating starting breakfast for Alice, but he had no idea how much longer she would sleep. She'd gotten home late the night before, and he didn't want her to wake up to cold food.

What: Wedding Planning
Where: Lots of places? One place?

One hand swept over his chin as Alex smoothed his razor over his cheek. He was running late, something he seriously disliked, and was trying very hard to get back on track. He was half dressed in a pair of nice khakis, having decided to at least not look a slob for meeting the wedding planner Alissa had helped them get a spot with, and was currently trying to shave and not do a hack job on his face. The shit he intended to wear was hanging on a hook on the door, as he hated to shave wearing something he coup get soap all over.

"Do we have an address for this place?" he called, and rinsed his blade under the tap before making a long stroke against his chin.

What: Date Night
Where: Out and About, then Home
When: Week after the New Year

Alex shrugged on his coat and ran a hand through his hair for what had to be the millionth time that night. It was their first time out since the failed dinner attempt one New year's Eve and he was lying if he said he wasn't still a little worried that Peter was in the area. That fear ached in his chest as he sat one the couch and leaned back. The last thing he wanted was Alice getting hurt.

What: Celebratory dinner!
When: Monday afternoon
Where: Home

Alex grinned as he jogged up the stairs to the apartment. His interview had gone better than well, especially as it was his second with the company. The boss had liked him, liked his background and attitude, and things looked really good. They looked so good, in fact, that he was offered the job on the spot. He was now the Head of Data Analysis for a conglomerate that was based out of Providence. Not bad at all, that. He started the following Monday and had training the rest of the week. He'd also stopped on the way home and picked up a bouquet for Alice. He was in a fantastic mood.

Opening the door, he held one hand behind him, "Honey, I'm home."

What: Dinner after house hunting
When: Thursday evening
Where: Restaurant/ TBA after

Alex smiled as the waitress sat them and handed out the menus. He ordered his drink, but paused, then asked for a wine list if there was one. Was it wrong that he wanted to do things a little more right than just the usual crap they kept on tap in the bar? Probably not. And with that he pushed away a smirking image of Alissa, one that she'd had on her face for most of the night of the reception. "Anything suit your fancy, wine wise?" he asked Alice and slid the wine list over to her, "I thought we could share a bottle or a half bottle or something."
